Gwaneumdo Island National Geopark

Gwaneumdo Island is the third largest sub island of Ulleungdo, following Jukdo Island and Dokdo Island. The island is uninhabited but is accessible by foot via a bridge that was installed in 2012. However, the bridge is closed in the case of strong winds, so visitors are advised to check operations in advance through the official Ulluengdo website. Gwaneumdo Island is also referred to as Kkaksaeseom Island due to the colony of streaked shearwater. The island is covered in a changing landscape of different foliage each season.
