Ahn Junggeun Memorial Museum

An Jung-geun is one of Korea's greatest independence movement activists who had assassinated Ito Hirobumi, a council to the Japanese emperor and former resident-general of Korea. Ahn Junggeun Memorial Museum was established in 1970 to commemorate the An Jung-geun's passionate patriotism. The museum was reconstructed with a new design in 2010, consisting of twelve glass-wall buildings connected to each other to symbolize alliance. The exhibition halls showcase the timeline of the patriot's from his birth to his death through a collection of records, relics, and An's personal belongings. The memorial hall serves to remind people of An Jung-geun's love for the country as well the sacrifice to win the country's independence.
